Amy Pierce is a Registered Nurse and Certified Aging Life Care Professional with over two decades of experience caring for older adults and their families. She is the founder of Coastal Care Partners, Savannah’s premier aging life care company, and the creator of Skin Tear Defense—a breakthrough product developed to help prevent painful and often avoidable skin injuries in aging skin.
Throughout her career, Amy has supported hundreds of older adults through hospital stays, home care transitions, and long-term wellness journeys. In doing so, she saw a common and frustrating challenge: fragile, thinning skin that was prone to tearing even during routine activities. Determined to find a solution, she worked alongside skincare experts and medical professionals to create Skin Tear Defense, a proactive, nurse-informed approach to skin protection.
Amy is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort—especially when it comes to everyday quality of life. Skin Tear Defense is part of her mission to make aging safer, more manageable, and less painful for individuals and their caregivers.
